Driffield is a town in Yorkshire, England. It is situated near to Nafferton, Wansford, Langtoft, Beverley, Burton Agnes, and Gransmoor and is one of 219 towns or villages in Yorkshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main cities are York (population 137,505), Lincoln (population 85,963), and Leeds (which has a population of 443,247 according to the 2001 Census). Sometimes given the nickname of “God’s Own County” thanks to its lush green countryside and wild expanses of moor land, Yorkshire is the largest county in England. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway carries more passengers than any other heritage railway in the UK and the National Railway Museum is to be found in the county capital city, York.
