Lying at the very heart of England, Warwickshire is best known as “Shakespeare’s County”. There’s a marvellous collection of paintings, china and furniture, not to mention some great facilities for children, at Ragley Hall, a fine palladian house near Alcester – another must see during your cottage holiday in Warwickshire. And with its fine Georgian and Victorian buildings, Royal Leamington Spa offers a touch of elegance as well as some top quality shopping.
