We had a fantastic few days, defo home from home with added extras, better than any hotel with have ever stayed in. We will defo be visiting again.

We have stayed at Springwood Lodges many times - never disappointed. NO, I do not want to recommend this holiday location to anybody - too many people know about it already!! Not always easy to book preferred week as it is!

The lodges are in a fabulous location and furnished to a high standard. Very picturesque, tranquil and relaxing with plenty of wildlife for company. The additional personal touches such as sparkling wine, chocolates, a selection of DVD's and CD's, right down to the 'cuddly toys' on the beds made the lodge feel very homely and welcoming. A wonderful place to chill out and recharge your batteries.

I would recommend this site to anyone. The lodge was outstanding, very clean and also the hot tub was checked daily. This was the perfect get away for a romantic few days away, I have booked with Hoseasons before at different destinations and this was very top of the list for going back.

My wife and I have been visiting Springwood Lodges for about 25 years and have always loved our holidays. Then Gerald and Fiona took over and took the place to new level with all new innovations including hot tub and sauna, also the furnishings were upgraded and reached a new level. We have been most years since then, sometimes twice. I have recommended this site to a number of friends, one of whom has already been twice. We love the location for perfect peace and quite.

Springwood Lodges are completely relaxing and a far cry from everyday life. We enjoyed the fantastic interior design, the luxury of having a hot tub and sauna for our sole use, and the ability to explore the local area on foot without the need to use the car at all. A fantastic experience and we definitely hope to return in the future for more 'pure chillout'.

A lovely lodge to get away from the hustle and bustle. Very relaxing and quiet with lots of wildlife to keep you amused. A real luxurious treat.

Fantastic place, peaceful and relaxing, hot tub was fab as was wildlife. Lots of little touches which made the holiday perfect and immaculately clean. Nearest supermarket is in Ripon 20 mins away.

If you're looking for a holiday that is peaceful, relaxing and romantic all at the same time then I couldn't imagine anywhere better than Spring Wood Lodges. The accommodation was excellent - everything you needed was provided. What more could you want than to hop straight from the sauna into the hot tub in complete privacy, so that you can lay back and enjoy the fantastic views, or to feed the pheasants and squirrels that greet you each morning. A definite 5 out of 5 from us!!

Lodge was in a beautiful setting, very quiet and peaceful. If you love wild life and birds it's the perfect place. When we arrived there was chocolates and wine waiting for us along with a welcome card. It was very clean, everything you would need for a self catering holiday was catered for. It was all just perfect, highly recommended.

Lovely quiet and peaceful setting, very romantic feel with the four poster bed and the hot tub, perfect break for any special occassion. The wildlife is very entertaining and interesting. Once you have been you will return as we did.

It is a perfect lodge in a perfect, beautiful and private location. We had our own wildlife welcoming committee, it was fantastic. The nearby tourist attractions, Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey are well worth a visit if you can bear to be away from the lodge for a few hours. The finishing touches and attention to detail from the owners ensure the lodge and its grounds are of a very high standard.

If you want a small, secluded and private park, this one is excellent. There are 5 log cabins, all well spaced, which is very desirable for a peaceful (or romantic) getaway. The park is personally run and managed by the owners, Gerald and Fiona Rutherford, who pay great attention to detail, both inside and outside the lodges.

If you wish to travel and see sights or just relax in your accommodation you can do either. It was so relaxing but we were always able to go and visit somewhere nice - the location was great.

The park is in a peaceful location and spotless. The lodges are immaculate and everything you need is there including touches like a welcome pack, dvds, cds and a bottle of bubbly and chocolates. If you want complete relaxation these lodges definitely give you that. This was our second time here and we will return!

We found Spring Wood Lodges to be excellent. They were fitted out extremely well with a great deal of attention being paid by the owners. The hot tub was great to go out to, even in the dark! It is a great place to go to for a quiet time in super surroundings!

The lodge was in the most beautiful of locations. The decoration of the lodge was exquisite, and the furniture and every detail had been thought of inside. The hot tub was so relaxing and we appreciated our week away from children! We had a superb holiday, it could not be improved!
