The Bay, Filey is a great place for a short break with lovely cottages and a fantastic pub in great surroundings. Mr L, York, North Yorkshire 01 March 2011
Lovely relaxing break with a great beach and plenty to do nearby if you want to go out and about. Mrs M, Cottingham, North Humberside 27 February 2011
We had an excellent short break over the New Year period and would certainly do the same again. Mr P, Dunbar, East Lothian 06 January 2011
Site was outstanding and would recommend to friends, loved it was close to the beach!! And whoever designed the decor did a really excellent job!! Miss B, Derby, Derbyshire 03 November 2010
Great for families or couples. Easy for getting around the coast by either car or bus. Just got back and have already recommended this 'home from home' holiday accommodation and location to family and friends.
Ms W, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear 24 October 2010
We had a very enjoyable time, thank you. Mrs L, Melksham, Wiltshire 12 October 2010
This was our second visit this year and we have enjoyed our break both times. The accommodation is excellent and the site is well placed for days out in Filey, Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington. The staff in the John Paul were friendly and gave good service. As did Bob the security man who helped us change a flat tyre on our first day there. We will be taking another break early next year and look forward to the leisure facilities opening. Mrs M, Bedlington, Northumberland 03 October 2010
An excellent weeks stay. Accommodation great, like a home from home. Very well equipped. Enjoyed being able to take the walk down to the beach without the car (about 10 mins) Staff friendly and helpful. Although some phases of the development are still being constructed it was no bother and didn't spoil our stay at all, in fact our son was keen to take the walk across the site to see the diggers. Based on our stay, I'd happily recommend 'The Bay'. Mr H, Lancaster, Lancashire 27 September 2010
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the accommodation was furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The Bay is perfectly located for exploring the Yorkshire Moors, also Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby are all within easy reach. It will be excellent when all the building work has been finished and the complex is completed.
Mrs D, Bury, Lancashire 02 September 2010
I would like to recommend this holiday to others because it was clean, new and everything was of an excellent standard. In addition, the beach was also remarkably good and in a perfect setting. Mrs M, Keighley, West Yorkshire 22 August 2010
The Bay is a very impressive complex. We really enjoyed the easy walk to the uncrowded beach. The on-site pub surprised us with homemade chips (quite a rarity these days)
Mrs W, Castleford, West Yorkshire 18 August 2010
Great location & accommodation. Site still under construction but had no impact on out holiday. Mr W, Bonnyrigg, Midlothian 14 August 2010
First impressions, beautiful place quiet location. Really felt at home and comfortable. Would recommend to friends and family who wish to have a quiet holiday. Mr G, Pontefract, West Yorkshire 14 August 2010

The accomodation was excellent, the beach was beautiful and the staff were friendly and made us all feel welcome including the dog. Perfect. Mrs B, Stoke-On-Trent, Stafforsdhire 01 August 2010
The acomodation here is second to none & is great value, a home from home. There is so much to do in the area in a beautiful part of the country. Mr S, AIRDRIE, Lanarkshire 01 August 2010
Excellent location and quality of accomodation. Mr B, DERBY 26 July 2010
The house was beautiful, real home from home. Every little detail thought of and it was furnished to a very high standard with a lot of thought to the smallest of detail. I would certainly recommend this to anyone and will stay here again very happily. Staff very friendly and child friendly too. What more could you ask for. Mrs Z, Duns, Berwickshire 25 July 2010
The accommodation was excellent and was equiped with everything you could possibly need. The park was quiet and on a lovely setting. The on site pub was very good and the food was lovely and even though we were only on a short break we ate there several times. This park will be even better once all the leisure facilites are finished. Mrs M, Dunoon, Argyll 25 July 2010
The Bay is in an excellent position to make the most of the coast line - renting a house offers far more flexibility than hotels or guest houses. Mr J, Wakefield, West Yorkshire 20 July 2010
If you are travelling with a dog, you will not find a better location, the onsite pub serves excellent food, at reasonable prices, and your pet is made more than welcome. Mrs H, Oldham, Lancashire 13 July 2010
Family and dog friendly holiday, which I would recommend to anyone. The standards of cleanliness were excellent and staff were very helpful. Mrs B, Goole, North Humberside 13 July 2010

Value for money is a a major factor in times such as these - The Bay at Filey is welcoming, friendly, clean and well equipped. We were able to totally chill out during the time we were there. Thank you Hoseasons. Mr W, Scunthorpe, South Humberside 29 April 2010

This holiday was fantastic.. none of us wanted to come home.. it was a lovely place and can't wait to go back.. Mrs N, CHORLEY, Lancashire 30 March 2010
This is the 5th time we have been to The Bay in the last 17 months and we have enjoyed every minute. We tend to go out of season to do some walking and to make the most of the cheaper rates. We have stayed in apartments, 1 bedroom cottages and a 3 bedroom cottage - all have been excellent. We hope to return soon as we prefer it now before the leisure complex is built. Mrs B, ALFRETON 10 February 2010
I definitely would recommend this to others and it is very good value for money. Mrs S, LEEDS, Yorkshire 04 January 2010
Excellent accommodation in a great location. The cottage was clean, warm, modern and fantastic value for money. We will be returning soon! Miss L, WAKEFIELD, West Yorkshire 04 January 2010
The accommodation was wonderful as was the pub. Access to the beach was easy and the beach itself was clean and lovely. We all had a wonderful time and will be back very soon! Mrs B, LEEDS, yorkshire 19 November 2009
There is a lovely, friendly pub on the site that serves good value for money meals and snacks - a nice place to retreat to in the evenings after a busy day sight seeing and eating icecream. You can also enjoy an evening stroll along a foot path down to an amazing beach. The accommodation is 1st class, clean and modern. Miss T, GILLINGHAM, Kent 19 November 2009
Excellent, friendly service, the accommodation has everything you need and more and a lovely location with direct access to the beach - perfect. Mrs A, BARTON-UPON-HUMBER, North Lincolnshi 18 November 2009
The park showed no sign of the hustle and bustle normally associated with holiday parks. It is in a lovely location which at times felt like you were miles from anywhere, but a short walk along the beach brought you to the main town of Filey. A short car drive would take you into either Scarborough of Bridlington. A lovely location! Mrs P, NOTTINGHAM, nottinghamshire 18 November 2009
A great place to stay, the cottages were out of this world and me, my wife and our two year old loved it. There are plenty of places to visit nearby and we would recommend it to anyone, it also has a great beach, and if you're like us and stay in on the nights because of a little one then there are plenty of places to order from (ie. pizza, chinese), who are more then welcome to deliver to your cottage. We can't wait to return next year! Mr S, ST. HELENS, Merseyside 17 November 2009
Better than I thought, the cottages were out of this world and very, very clean. Could not ask for a better place to stay, my wife and my 2 yr old loved it, would recommend to anyone. Thanks will be going back next year. Mr S, ST. HELENS, Merseyside 13 November 2009

Beautiful accommodation set alongside a glorious beach. Mrs M, Sandbach, Cheshire 08 September 2009
A great place to come and visit with as much or as little around you as you wish. Filey is a 5 minute drive or walk along the beach, Bridlington,Whitby,Scarborough are a bit further out. Good for families, couples and for pets. These are not chalets or caravans they are houses ...new ones at that with all the trappings you would expect - nice decor, bathrooms, kitchen etc, a nice pub with great food...and a nice unspoilt beach. Mr B, SUNDERLAND, durham 05 September 2009
We had a fantastic holiday at The Bay - the standard of accommodation was excellent! Mrs L, ORPINGTON, Kent 31 August 2009
We had a fab stay at The Bay. The accommodation was excellent, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. The location was great for us, the beach is a 10 -15 minute walk and is beautiful and unspoilt. Filey itself is a lovely place with Glenfield Gardens providing a park, pedaloes, crazy golf and cafe for a laid back afternoon with the children. It also has a lovely beach and none of the amusement arcades. Mrs D, TOWCESTER, Northamptonshire 24 August 2009
Very clean and well laid out accommodation, and having your own private, clean, beach made us feel special. Mr F, Studley, Warwickshire 23 August 2009

A delightful stay, it was like a home from home and the accommodation, decor and facilities are second to none. Mrs C, RETFORD, Nottinghamshire 01 August 2009

A fanatastic place to stay, a real home from home. We will be going back again and would highly recommend it! Mrs M, LINCOLN, Lincolnshire 25 July 2009
We were thoroughly impressed with our accommodation at The Bay, Filey. We understand that there is to be a spa complex due for completion; once that is open, The Bay will well and truly be a fantastic holiday resort. Reception and security staff were both friendly and helpful providing an extremely professional and personal service throughout the duration of our stay. Mrs U, MILTON KEYNES 21 July 2009
