The Bay is an excellent area for a break of any length. The area is set out to mirror a small village with great access to the beach & sea. The apartment that we stayed in (Solo) was first class with all of the creature comforts of home available that made it a very relaxing time. The Bay is also an excellent base to see the best of the Yorkshire Coast, Filey, Whitby and Scarborough etc.

I would without doubt recommend The Bay to friends and family, and already have done. In fact some friends have already booked to visit The Bay this year. It's so clean and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The security staff drive round a lot which makes you feel at ease straight away, they too are very friendly. Thanks for a great holiday.

Apartments spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials for us to eat in. Went to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough, Flamborough and Filey. All journeys less than 1 hour away. Quiet due to being the winter season but sure it will be perfect in the summer.

The Solo apartment was absolutely superb. The quality of furnishings were excellent. On checking in at reception the staff were extremely friendly. They also informed us that the central heating was on constant, which was fab given that we were staying over the New Year during extremely cold weather. All in all the accommodation and the site was of a very high standard. We would definitely stay at this site again and would recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay at The Bay. The apartment was of high quality, with everything we needed. While it is still being developed in places, the rest of The Bay looks lovely and we particularly loved the walk down to the beach. The Bay is a lovely Holiday Village, the site is well laid out and the accommodation is of a very high standard with everything you could need at hand. You are within easy reach of Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington and other places of interest. The staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy. We took our small dog with us and there were some lovely walks nearby.

The Bay is a fantastic location with a section of beach which seems virtually private. It was a relaxing break from the moment we drove through the welcoming entrance. The on site facilities were excellent with the Joh Paul pub right on the doorstep. FIRSTCLASS!!!! We will be coming back that is for sure. I would recommend this to anyone!!!!

The situation of the park is ideal for access to the beach, which our dog loved. The pub was very dog friendly which helped us to relax as we knew that we could take our dog into the pub when we had our meal. As dogs cannot be left in the accommodation it is not always easy to find a place to eat where we are comfortable and our dog is accepted. The staff in the pub were very good.

The location is fantastic. What a great beach and a lovely walk down to it. Felt very secure to walk alone and enjoy the birds etc. Lovely stream/small lake in a landscaped area with views of the sea too. The Bay Filey has excellent accommodation but is still undergoing development so parts of the site are off limits to visitors due to continuing building works. As elsewhere, property sales are slow and the development of this site is taking longer than first planned. Going into the accommodation was a brilliant surprise - it was like being in a home from home. The furniture, decorations and facilities were of the highest standards, you literally do not want to go home. From facilities on site to local tourist spots, the days were packed full of activities. We loved it here. Lovely accommodation, well equipped, very comfortable and great for the dog with plenty of space to run. Lovely, friendly staff, and a very safe feel to the place with 24 hour security. A nice walk to a fine beach and centrally located for Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington. Also a good base for visiting Hutton le Hole, the Ryedale Museum and the towns on the North Yorkshire Railway route, many of them lovely little villages. Also close to Goathland, the setting for the Heartbeat series and don't miss all these York Moors villages.

The Bay is the perfect place for a holiday away from the normally hectic pace of your average park holiday! If you want a quiet, relaxing place to retire to either in the evening, or you just want peace and quiet to relax during the day then I can recommend The Bay! The quality of the accommodation is superb and all the staff are 100% intent on ensuring you enjoy your holiday. Along with the quality and the very helpful and commited staff you also have peace of mind with 24 hour security at the complex, with regular patrols around the complex - the security staff ensure you and your property are safe whilst you stay there. A walk down to the beach along the private road and you have the cleanest beach I have seen for ages! We are already looking to book at The Bay for next year!

The accommodation was better than I had imagined it would be, and the appearance/exterior of the properties was done to a good standard. The beach itself wasn't very far from the accommodation so we were able to walk there.

This was our first holiday with our 8 month old daughter and it was a fantastic break. The Solo apartment was fitted out to a very high standard and we can't wait to go back again to see how The Bay changes over the coming years with future developments. The location was great also, as there is so much to do in the area that kept us all entertained and it is only a short walk to the beach. A perfect holiday!

This accommodation is lovely. We had a one bedroomed apartment which we though would be really small as it stated in brochure ideal for couple or couple with small baby, however we found it quite roomy and we fitted a travel cot in the bedroom easily. We would definitely recommended the on site pub, the meals, staff and ease of this was perfect - very nice food and really welcoming to families as well as couples.

This was our most relaxing holiday - we enjoyed everything about it. We found Yorkshire people to be friendly which always feels good. This was a great location within Filey, very tranquil and relaxing. The accommodation was excellent and immaculate and the apartments were well equipped and beautifully decorated. We were within distance from all seaside locations which was ideal. The staff at the resort were friendly and very helpful, and the bar on site was also very friendly and the service wasgreat. We had an excellent last minute weekend away at The Bay. We were looking for somewhere to relax and unwind but with facilities for our toddler son to enjoy, and loved the community feel of The Bay, the child friendly bar/restaurant, the beach area and the beautifully furnished and spacious apartment. The Solo apartment was 1 bedroomed but we were surprised by the very modern and spacious accommodation with everything we needed. We will be returning soon.

I would recommend The Bay for couples of all ages and families wanting to experience a quieter style of holiday. Even without facilities such as a pool etc, the access to the beach is brilliant and what more could you want for your children to play. It was also nice as the part of the beach accessed was much quieter than by primrose valley or filey.

This exceeded our expectations - we stayed in a Solo which had everything you could need, ultra modern with all mod cons. The staff were lovely and the pub was really nice, serving good food in luxurious surroundings. It is a short drive from Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby. We even ordered a chinese in one night after a day of sight seeing, (from a flyer in our room) which was delivered to our door. We had everything we could have needed for a relaxing/quiet break. I am a travel agent and this will be highly recommended to all of my customers!

The park staff where fantastic, especially the security man who came to find us to make sure we got to the right apartment. The pub staff were fantastic and worked very hard and still maintatined a very friendly manner. Received a call a few days before arrival, welcoming us and giving details about the location, and our arrival time. Was very easy to find, next door to primrose valley on the bridlington/filey road. Apartment was spotless, very comfortable, and new furnishings. Far better than staying in a hotel/B&B. Pub on site which was a 5 min walk from the apartment. Also has a private road down to the beach, which took about a further 10mins. Security was constantly driving around the site. 3 min drive to Filey for food shopping, takeaways etc. VERY pleased and have already made a return booking!

The Solo apartment was very cosy and clean. It was nice to be able to walk onto the Beach and the location is really good as you are close to Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington. Filey itself is worth a visit.

The holiday we had a Filey was ideal - The Bay was brand new accommodation for 2008 & although the facilities were not yet built ie the shops & swimming complex - it will be somewhere we will return to again next year when fully open.
