Perfect quiet holiday for relaxing, site was great. Miss S, Hexham, Northumberland 19 March 2011
The holiday was value for money for February school holidays and we all had a lovely time. Mrs B, Chester Le Street, County Durham 26 February 2011
The holiday was really good. Children enjoyed the facilities and the entertainment of an evening. Mr D, Liverpool, Merseyside 22 February 2011
Really great holiday, very clean, great entertainment, especially for kids! Swimming excellent, all in all a really great holiday for all family and cheap! x Miss W, Lancaster, Lancashire 22 February 2011
We have been to this park twice. Our daughter uses a wheelchair to enable her to get around and the park accommodates most of her needs. There is a lift to the upper floor, the only area we found difficult to access was the bowling area but staff were very helpful. Mrs C, Glasgow, Lanarkshire 16 February 2011
Great for all the family and quite a high tech park. Mr C, Jarrow, Tyne And Wear 31 October 2010
Already recommended holiday to a friend who has already booked up for next month. Mrs R, HARTLEPOOL, Cleveland 08 September 2010
Great holiday, accommodation is clean and well equipped. Site is quiet and peaceful, great entertainment for kids, mine are 6 and 3 and really enjoyed this holiday, especially Foxy Fox! Mrs M, Sunderland, Tyne And Wear 05 September 2010
Good area for touring, great clean and dog friendly camp. Mrs A, SWADLINCOTE, Derbyshire 27 July 2010
I would, and have, recommended Stanwix holiday park to friends and family. It is a lovely friendly site, clean and the staff put themselves out to help whenever they can.........it is a bit of a drive to Lakes but a pleasent drive... I recommend take a satnav ;-) Mr F, Cannock, Staffs 09 June 2010
I have just stayed at Stanwix for the four nights in the half term week with my 5 year old son and we both had a great time, I wish we could have stayed longer! The park suits kids from 3-11 brilliantly as the night time entertainment is excellent, especially Trevor Cooke. There is plenty to do on site, the caravan was clean and tidy as was the pool, and the staff were very helpful. Mr G, Benton, Tyne & Wear 05 June 2010
I would recommend the site for anyone with kids aged 2-12. My son is five and loved everything. Mr G, Benton, Tyne & Wear 05 June 2010
I would recommend this holiday to anyone. The park is lovely, spotlessly clean and the facilities are great -especially for families. The pool is especially good. We went with our two year old and his grandparents and there is something for everyone. Ideally located to enjoy the Lake District. Mrs B, Bishop Auckland, County Durham 28 April 2010
This has got to be the best all round caravan park I have ever visited, that is saying something as I have been to loads. The site was immaculate and facilities excellent for all age groups. The clubs were stunning and entertainment first class. I like my holidays abroad over the past few years but this has restored my faith in the British holiday and I am already looking to return. Thanks to all concerned. Mr R, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire 28 April 2010
We wanted a short break, not too far away from home, and went online on Sunday afternoon, by Monday morning, we were booked into Stanwix Park Holiday village on a four night stay, and it was wonderful. The caravan was superbly clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, the site facilities were brilliant and the staff just as good. We arrived around 7.30pm to find staff waiting for us with keys and our welcome pack, we had a quiet day on site on Tuesday, took in the evening entertainment at the Dunes Bar on Tuesday Night, we toured the Lake District on Wednesday, and again had a quiet day on Thursday. We just wanted a few days away, quiet and relaxing, and that's what we got - we will certainly be booking with Hoseasons again and will definitely go back to Stanwix Park, it was just ideal for us as a couple. Five Star ***** recommended. Thank you. Les and Joanne Harley, Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland. Mr H, Irvine, Ayrshire 24 April 2010
I would recommend this holiday for any families with young children (up to age 10approx) we had a great time, the caravan was very nice, clean and comfortable, the swimming pool is very good as was the other facilities (bowling alley, amusements & soft play area) but geared more for young children we felt. The cafe did nice food and a take away menu too but it's a shame there wasn't a restaurant maybe for evening meals. Overall very good and we would definately return, good value for money. Miss N, SUNDERLAND 13 April 2010
I have recommended this holiday to lots of people and every time I get my brochure through I take it into my work and get lots of people to book up (not the same time as me of course!!) We don't have children but love this holiday break for our dog as it's great walks on the beach. Miss L, GLASGOW 23 March 2010
The cleanest park we have ever stayed at, the entertainment was superb and we had a fantastic time. We will be booking again for several breaks next year! Mr W, BLACKPOOL, lancashire 25 October 2009
Silloth is set in a most tranquil area, and on a fine day hours can be spent watching for dolphins in the Solway Firth. A 25 mile drive takes you you to Buttermere, Derwent Water, Wndermere and Keswick, all of which offer a brilliant day out in an area which is quintisentially English. It is easy to see why Wordsworth and Tennyson waxed lyrically over the area, even if the sheep on the roads do display attitude! Our first visit to the Lake District but most definitely not our last! After 23 years of holidaying abroad we did not realise what we had been missing so it's a big thankyou to the recession! Mr H, GOSPORT 16 September 2009
We found the break very relaxing as there is plenty for the the kids to do, and you know they are safe. Mrs. F, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Newcastle 01 September 2009
The reception staff were very organised and helpful, the park was very well maintained and the complex was very clean. Mrs J, WORKINGTON, Cumbria 01 September 2009
We have been to Stanwix Park about 7 times and can not fault it. Just want we wanted, peace and quiet and not spoilt.
Mr J, MANCHESTER, Lancashire 02 August 2009
The childrens entertainment was excellent! MRs E, EDINBURGH 24 July 2009
A great location for a family holiday. Our 2 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed using the facilities and there are lots of other attractions in the area. We particularly enjoyed the Gincase Farm Park. Mrs M, Annan, Dumfriesshire 14 July 2009
A very clean and tidy park. The facilties were great and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. T he evening entertainment was very good and if you wanted to, you could escape from the children. Mr G, STOCKPORT, Cheshire 08 July 2009
This was our second short break holiday here, and feel that the accommodation and entertainment is just perfect for a young family. Mr E, Darlington, Durham 07 July 2009
We would recommend this holiday because of the facilities on offer, and also because of its proximity to the Lake District, Scottish Borders and local golf courses. Mr T, BURNLEY 26 June 2009
Beautiful coastal scenery, relaxed, no silly Lake District parking charges and overdone chocolate box commercialism, including good food and very reasonable charging. Mr E, LANCASTER 26 June 2009
It would be difficult to find a better place to spend a weeks holiday! Mr R, Thame, Oxfordshire 15 June 2009

Great for all - in the evening families taken care of in a very good setting with entertainment for the kids, whilst also providing a haven in 2 adults only bars/cabaret for those adults who want a break without kids running riot. Mr K, Blackpool 01 September 2008

A very enjoyable break. Clean and tidy Caravans and site. Friendly and helpful staff. Good range of entertainment for all the family. Miss W, Choppington 01 August 2008
Fantastic park, facilities, setting and personnel. Has not got too big or expanded too much to lose the personal touch which is so often lacking in parks like this. Would definitely put it on my "must go back" list! Mrs M, Bolton 26 July 2008
A suitable, safe and friendly place to spend a family holiday. Mrs F, Oxfordshire. 14 July 2008

The entertainment was brilliant! Mr H, Congleton, Cheshire 05 May 2008
I would reccommend a Hoseasons holiday because the service is excellent, the helpful staff go out of their way to make sure the holiday is fun-filled and stress-free. The facilities are good and we found the on-site shop to be excellent value, i would definitely use it next time instead of bringing our own food. Mrs M, Preston 05 May 2008
We all had a great break at Stanwix Park, that includes me, my husband, two children and the dog!! Mrs W, Wallsend, Tyne and Wear 21 April 2008

Very child friendly and the staff were all happy to help - a home from home! Mrs P, Sandy, Bedfordshire 18 August 2007
I would like to comment on the kids activities - my 6 year old had the time of his life, and that is the reason we will be returning to see 'Foxy Fox' again next year - I will also be passing on the details of Hoseasons to all of our friends and family! Mr A, Wallington, Surrey 17 August 2007
The friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come across in 40 years of staying at holiday parks, and a great base for exploring Cumbria. Mrs S, Chorley, Lancashire 10 August 2007
This park is quiet and relaxing with plenty of activities, the pool and sauna were first class and the snooker room is a great idea. The real attraction for us was that the whole park was immaculate, from the accommodation to the parks grounds and facilities which is why we booked the park twice this season. Mr T 27 October 2006
I think that the entertainment staff were lovely, which made the children's holiday easier as we have not been to a park like this before. The shop was really cheap as well, which was surprising. Ms B 25 August 2006
Stanwix Park is the best place for children as everything about this holiday was excellent !!!!!!! All the staff were so very friendly and the caravan was super clean - what else can i say? Thankyou for an excellent family holiday 10/10. Mr S 29 July 2006
