Nearby, Thetford Forest's established trails are a haven for walkers and cyclists; Oxburgh Hall (N.T.) is five miles and the lovely market towns of Downham Market, Swaffham (10 miles) and Bury St Edmunds are a short drive. Family fun at the seaside resort of Hunstanton, the Queen's Estate at Sandringham and the picturesque fishing villages of the North Norfolk coast are all within easy reach as are Cambridge and Norwich cities. Shop 2 miles. Pub 400 yards.

Absolutely lovely cottage, had everything you'd need, spotless, welcoming & relative information about the area, shops, restaurants, taxis etc were available. A bottle of rose, some cakes, chocolates & a note were left for us. Overall a lovely weekend break & we would definitely return!

The coastline is the major attraction here, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from historic King’s Lynn all the way round to Great Yarmouth, famous for its Golden Mile and multitude of seaside attractions and entertainments. Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.
The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
