Anglers should bring their rods for the fishing on site. Linlithgow has shops, pubs and tea rooms (3 miles), but is best known for its Royal Palace, famous as the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots. Other places of interest include the ruins of Blackness Castle (7 miles), Hopetoun House, its museum and park and The Binns (NTS). Beecraigs Country Park is 5 miles. Edinburgh is a 25 mile drive, or by train (every 15 minutes) from Linlithgow. Sports centre, swimming pool, riding 3 miles. Golf 1.5 miles.

Three bedrooms. Entrance porch. Very spacious and well equipped farmhouse style kitchen with large dining area. Day room with lovely views across garden to the river. Spacious sitting room with ornamental fireplace. Leading from sitting room is a large sun room with panoramic views across garden. Master double bedroom with ensuite shower room/WC. Two further double bedrooms. Bathroom/WC.

Reviews
Have been to Todsmill Cottage years ago and was not disappointed on our return. It is right by the river in lovely secluded surroundings and a great base for travelling and exploring the local amenities. Great fun for our little girl (16 months) too.

This cottage has everything you would want away from home and would meet everyone's expectations. It is ideally situated to explore the many and varied local tourist attractions, particularly around Edinburgh. You will want a return visit!
