Cosy, comfortable and enjoying their own individual gardens, they offer a delightful holiday base on the fringes of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds. Bird watching, walking, cycling on quiet country lanes, and seal watching at Dona Nook are all popular activities here, and the gloriously unspoilt coastline’s quaint seaside resorts such as Sutton on Sea and Anderby Creek are well worth exploring, whilst Mablethorpe and Skegness provide plenty of family fun. Pretty market towns (nearby Louth is a real gem), antiques hunting in Horncastle and racing at Market Rasen are all within an easy drive as is the city of Lincoln with its cobbled streets, castle, cathedral and famous Christmas market. Shop and pub serving food 0.5 miles.

Very clean cottage and freindly owners. Great walks nearby some straight from the door. We stumbled onto the seal santuary at Theddlethorpe which was fantastic. You definetley need wellies as there's a lot of mud to get the the sea but when you see the dark shapes in the sea and they're looking back at you it's well worth it.

Whichever of our Lincolnshire cottage holidays you choose, you can be sure of a very pleasant surprise when you arrive in this peaceful, almost timeless place. It may be one of the largest of Britain’s counties, but it remains one of the least well-known. Here you’ll find wide-open spaces, far horizons and room to breathe, not to mention some excellent locally-sourced food.
Perhaps most striking are the Lincolnshire Wolds, where most of our Lincolnshire holiday cottages are located. Unlike the rest of the county, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts rolling hills, deep valleys and is ideal touring country. In complete contrast, there’s Lincolnshire’s Fun Coast, miles of sandy beaches stretching from Skegness to Mablethorpe which attracts families in search of its many seaside attractions and shows.
Not be missed is historic Lincoln, complete with its famous cathedral and medieval buildings as well as a Norman Castle where you can see one the few original copies of Magna Carta. To the south lies Stamford, a perfectly preserved Georgian Town, which featured in the TV adaptation of Middlemarch. Make sure you pay a visit to nearby Burghley House, one of our grandest Elizabethan houses.
