Description
Llandudno is a traditional Victorian seaside resort ideal for families and couples. Local attractions in the town are too numerous to name individually but range from family beaches with donkey rides and a fun pier to the delights of the Great Orme Country Park with it's famous funicular tramway to the summit and resident Kashmir goats. Don't forget the dry ski slope and toboggan ride too if family fun is what you're looking for.
Situated on the Great Orme in Llandudno this traditional miners cottage has sweeping views over the bay towards the Little Orme and over the Victorian seaside town. To the rear are views of the Orme summit and the Halfway Station for Llandudno's funicular tramway - just a five minute walk away.
The centally heated cottage sleeps a maximum of five in two bedrooms and an attic room. Please note the attic room is reached via space saving stairs so may not be suitable for those with mobility problems or very young children. The master bedroom with king size bed has sea views, while the double bedroom has glorious views of the Orme summit. There's a single bed in the attic room and velux roof lights offering stunning views over the town and the Orme Country Park - ideal for stargazing!
The cosy lounge with 'log effect' electric fire, colour TV & DVD also has a selection of board games.
The fully equipped kitchen has electric oven, halogen hob, fridge/freezer & microwave with breakfast area. Also on the ground floor is a utility room with automatic washing machine and W.C.
Upstairs the large wet room has a walk in shower, WC and heated towel rail.
The gated front courtyard has a small patio table and chairs - ideal for the morning sun. To the rear is another courtyard leading to a grassed sitting area with bench and table to catch the afternoon sun.
Just a few minutes walk from the cottage is the 9 hole pitch and putt course and there's two golf courses within a few minutes drive; Maesdu is a part links course while North Wales golf club is a full links course.
Llandudno is ideally situated to visit Snowdownia National Park and the adrenaline junkies will be thrilled by the recently opened zip wire world at Blanea Ffestiniog as well as Surf Snowdownia - the worlds' first purpose built surf centre.
As it's the first year of using the internet, I thought it might be useful to share some of the comments made by previous guests from the visitor book;

The main promenade, full of hotels, guesthouses and bed and breakfasts, faces east across the bay, with the main town separating it from the sweeping sands of the west side beach. The town has a wide variety of shops including a number of larger high street names and transport facilities are good with easy access by road.
