Like Mevagissey the equally picturesque little village of Polperro is another of Cornwall's fine fishing villages. No visit to this part of the world would be complete without visiting one of these quaint harbours, full of the bustle of traditional Cornish fishing life. Polperro is not far from Crumplehorn, Lansallos, Lanreath, Polruan-By-Fowey, East Looe, and Looe and is one of over 250 towns or villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest city is Plymouth which dwarfs this little village in every way!
The narrow, cobbled, streets are lined with all manner of craft and gift shops as well as cafes and restaurants, and the regular horse and cart trips between the main car park and the village itself only add to the unique character and appeal of visiting this jewel in Cornwall's crown. Be sure to pay a visit to the little model village in the midst.
