GENERAL - Traditional cottage with estuary views - Halfway down the steep lane leading to the harbour of Polruan looking across the water at Fowey - Parking is in the main village car park GROUND FLOOR - Half a dozen steps lead straight up to a small lobby - Sitting room with electric fire and views down to the bustling river mouth - Spacious dining room - Fitted kitchen with a small breakfast area UPSTAIRS - Compact bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath - Main bedroom has a king size bed and views down the lane to the boats in the harbour - Small double bedroom overlooking the patio garden - Cosy bunk bedroom looking across to the wooden sundeck GARDEN - Rear courtyard which is shared with one other cottage - Steps leading down to a gated passageway opening to the village lane - Dozen steps lead up to a decking with a picnic table and views of the Fowey River - Terraced patio with a summer house looking over the harbour and estuary, and a useful garden W.C. LOCAL AREA - Two pubs, small shops and a tea room are down on the quayside - Foot ferry runs frequently across the harbour to Fowey - Nearest beaches are at Lansallos and Lantic Bay about a 10 minute drive or Readymoney Cove on the Fowey side of the river PLEASE NOTE - Pets and young children will require supervision outside as there are low walls - A weekly car park ticket currently costs £25 - Towels are not available - There is a charge for both passenger and car ferries to and from Fowey |
